DesirableBody is a highly customised ecommerce site based on the Magento system. The site offers a range of health products available in multi-language and multi-currency. The site has been optimised for Google ranking and phase two of the project involves a link building and article submission strategy to improve the position of organic listings.

We have been developing this site for the Forza Group in partnership with another design agency, PureBlue Creative for several months.

Now the UK version is launched and is already a success, the next stage is to translate it into five other languages (German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish & Danish) and to launch the DesirableBody brand in Europe.

This site was created for a local magician, Lee Smith. Lee is already well respected on the magic circuit and has played at large venues as well as celebrity dinner and dances.

Lee was in desperate need of a simple but elegant website as many of his contacts were asking "Where is your site?" and had to keep saying, "It's coming" as he'd been let down by previous designers.

This website was built in about a week and Lee is extremely happy with the results.

FutureQuakePress is a well respected stable of small-press comics. So well respected in face that often established comic book writers and artists will produce work for inclusion.

Last year in fact, FutureQuake (the original title in the stable) was nominated for an Eagle Award, these are the Oscars of the comic world.

Katana Design have been looking after the FQP website now for about 3 years and the version here is the third incarnation of the site.

This site is a work in progress for Katana Design. It is a pet project and is currently under development.

Born from a 2nd year degree project, the site's aim it to allow a user to build a catalogue of all their DVDs. It is there mainly so you have an list of you collection in a safe place.

If your house was burgled or you had a fire, you'll be able to print of a list of DVDs with current values to give to the insurers.

The data for the DVDs is taken from a feed that Amazon produce and so all the titles and their values are kept uptodate.

You can even allocate categories (that you define) to the DVDs and you can search under these.

Eventually the site will be expanded to include CD, book and even video game collections.

Last year, at short notice, Charlotte Snowdon found herself in the position to own and run the florist shop she worked in.

Whilst she was able to quickly get literature and signage organised she also needed to have a website designed, built and launced in time for her opening. It had to be done in less than a week.

Katana Design were able produce a nice simple layout using the same graphics that had been designed for her literature and the site wasn't delivered on time...it was delivered two days early!

Angela Patchett is a new children's author and is about to have her first book 'Angela Angel and the Magic Chair' published.

She wanted a simple site (only about 4 pages) but that would be visually appealing to young children and one that would promote her new book.

This is what we came up with and she was delighted!
